Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with President François Hollande on the margins of the G7 Summit in Ise-Shima, Japan.

They discussed the close cultural and economic ties between Canada and France, and ways to increase cooperation, especially in the area of international development.

Prime Minister Trudeau and President Hollande also discussed subjects of shared interest such as the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA), the fight against terrorism and the migration crisis.
