Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke today with the President of France, François Hollande. 

Prime Minister Trudeau offered his condolences for the innocent victims who were killed or injured on July 14 as a result of the terrorist attack that targeted Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, France.  He also reiterated Canada’s offer of support to France.  

The two leaders agreed to continue cooperation to counter the threat of terrorism and radicalization. The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of the values of tolerance and pluralism in this difficult period.
