Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today in Ottawa with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The leaders discussed enhancing bilateral relations and the importance of their partnership in NATO and the UN. The two held exchanges on international security, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, and migration.

Prime Minister Trudeau and Prime Minister Bettel also discussed strengthening commercial ties, notably in innovation and technology, and through the timely ratification of the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
