Gurinder Grewal is an investment professional with over 25 years of experience in the energy, industrials, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of MEM Growth Partners, an independent firm focused on investing in high-growth platforms across multiple sectors.

Mr. Grewal began his career in leveraged finance at the investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (acquired by Credit Suisse) before joining Bain Capital, a global investment manager, where he was involved in investments across the fintech, industrials, media, and software industries. He subsequently spent more than a decade at Advent International, a leading private equity firm, as a Partner and Co-Head of Industrials, Infrastructure, and Energy. During this time, he led investments in market-leading platforms around the world.

Mr. Grewal’s experience includes serving as a board member of several portfolio companies in North America, South America, and Europe. He has built and led teams of investing and operating professionals and has raised debt, equity, and structured capital from global investors and capital markets. He also spent time in an operating leadership role at a portfolio company in the advanced manufacturing space, where he scaled commercial operations and supported the company’s IPO on NASDAQ.

Mr. Grewal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, in Boston, and an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University, in London, Ontario.
