The Prime Minister will speak with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, to discuss the international response to COVID-19, and financing for development initiatives to address debt and liquidity issues many countries are facing.

11:10 a.m. The Prime Minister will virtually visit Ayoub’s Dried Fruits & Nuts in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He will be accompanied by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Jonathan Wilkinson and Member of Parliament for Coquitlam—Port Coquitlam Ron McKinnon.

12:00 p.m. The Prime Minister, joined by Member of Parliament for Sydney—Victoria Jaime Battiste, will virtually meet with representatives from New Dawn, a social enterprise in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
