Prime Minister Trudeau expressed his deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed in the Paris attacks, and expressed the solidarity of Canadians with the French people and offered all possible assistance to France during this difficult time.
Prime Minister Trudeau and Minister Fabius underscored the close historical, economic, and people-to-people ties that exist between Canada and France. They committed to promote continued collaboration across a range of bilateral and international issues.
They also looked forward to working collaboratively on an ambitious outcome at the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change that will take place in Paris.
