Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with the Prime Minister of Sweden, Stefan Löfven.

The Prime Ministers discussed their shared commitment to gender equality and feminism.  The leaders also discussed the mutual benefits to be gained through the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union.

The two leaders welcomed the strong bilateral relations between Canada and Sweden and looked forward to their continued collaboration on a wide range of issues.
