Prime Minister Trudeau and Prime Minister Turnbull expressed sorrow over the loss of Australian and Canadian citizens during the June 3, 2017 attack in London, England. Prime Minister Trudeau offered his condolences for the death and injuries in the June 5, 2017 attack in Melbourne, Australia. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to work together to counter terrorism and violent extremism. 

The Prime Ministers emphasized the importance of upholding the ambition in the Paris Agreement and sustaining the global effort to combat climate change.

The two leaders reiterated the significance of open, progressive and inclusive trade in ensuring increased prosperity for the citizens of Canada and Australia.
