The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, met today with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on the margins of the G20 in Hamburg, Germany.

The two leaders undertook to deepen the longstanding relationship between the two countries, which are built on shared traditions of democracy and pluralism.

The prime ministers looked forward to continue negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement.
