Prime Minister Trudeau met today with President Moon Jae-In of Korea.

The two leaders discussed the grave threat to peace and security posed by North Korea's nuclear tests and other provocations. They agreed on the need for the international community to implement fully all United Nations Security Council resolutions on North Korea.

The two leaders also discussed growing Canada-Korea bilateral relations and affirmed their commitment to free and open trade, discussing ways of leveraging the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
