Prime Minister Trudeau met today with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Vijay Rupani. The Prime Minister congratulated the Chief Minister on his recent re-election and expressed his thanks for the warm and visible welcome to Gujarat. 

The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Trudeau for being the first Canadian Prime Minister to visit Gujarat. 

‎The Chief Minister and the Prime Minister discussed close ties between Canada and Gujarat in education and commerce, noting opportunities for greater collaboration and deeper linkages.
