Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikimedia Foundation, to discuss ways to deliver upon the Christchurch Call to Action on eliminating terrorist and violent extremist content online, which Canada joined yesterday.  

Agreeing upon the need to improve trust and accountability in the digital world, they exchanged views on issues important to Canada’s new digital and data strategy, including actions to address election interference and disinformation.
