Yesterday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe to congratulate him on his election win.
The Prime Minister reiterated how much he valued Premier Moe’s many contributions to First Ministers’ discussions over the past several months. In particular, he recognized his work as Chair of the Council of the Federation, as federal, provincial, and territorial governments have worked together to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister indicated that he would continue to work with Premier Moe on a wide range of shared priorities, including infrastructure, child care, and seniors. The two leaders said they look forward to their next discussion with First Ministers.
