Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull of Australia on the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
The leaders underscored the long and enduring friendship between our two countries and affirmed their desire to further strengthen the relationship.
They discussed both bilateral and international issues including trade and investment, climate change and regional security matters in the Middle East and in Asia. They also agreed on the importance of continuing to work together to strengthen the Commonwealth.
