Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke today with the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos.

The Prime Minister congratulated President Santos on reaching the historic peace agreement with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), ending more than 50 years of armed conflict, and reaffirmed Canada’s support for the implementation of the agreement.

The two leaders looked forward to their continued collaboration on issues of mutual concern.
