The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, met today with the President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, to renew and strengthen the bilateral relationship between Canada and Argentina.

Argentina is a like-minded country, and an important partner for Canada in Latin America.

Together, they discussed ways to increase trade and investment, and enhance cooperation in areas such as natural resource management, agricultural products, renewable energy, regional security and human rights. They also committed to working closely together within regional and multilateral organizations.
