The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, met with the Secretary of the Communist Party of Guangdong Province of the People’s Republic of China, Li Xi.

The two discussed the deep and long-standing people-to-people and commercial ties between Canada and Guangdong. ‎They expressed support for the strong trade and investment relationship between Canada and China.
