Today, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, spoke with the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the President for the loss of life and injuries that resulted from the shooting yesterday at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school in Parkland, Florida.

The Prime Minister extended his wishes for a full recovery to those who were injured.  He offered Canada’s assistance and said that Canadians stand in solidarity with the people of the United States at this difficult time.
