The Prime Minister and The Prince of Wales discussed the Commonwealth and the important work the organization is doing around the world to promote human rights, good governance, and sustainable economic development. They look forward to the 2020 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting taking place in June in Rwanda.
The Prime Minister and The Prince of Wales exchanged views on sustainability, climate change and the need for global action to protect the environment. They agreed that the 25th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP25), taking place now in Madrid, is a valuable opportunity to continue working on the Paris Agreement and advance protection of biodiversity and oceans.
