As we begin this new year, I know a lot of people are wondering what to expect in 2021. Although the pandemic is far from over, I want to start today by telling you that we have reasons to be optimistic.  Two safe and effective vaccines have been approved in Canada and we have started receiving doses of those vaccines over the past few weeks.

This morning, we got the news that Health Canada has completed their review of the Moderna vaccine, and found it to be safe and effective. Canada has an internationally recognized process of independent review, and I know that our best experts have upheld this highest standard.
