Prime Minister’s remarks at the Annual Meeting of the Union des municipalités du Québec

It’s a great pleasure for me to be here with you today for the first virtual edition of the annual meeting of the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ). Congratulations to Vicki-May Hamm and her entire team for their work organizing the meeting. Let me begin by acknowledging your new president, Daniel Côté. Daniel, I am very much looking forward to working with you on the priorities of Quebec municipalities. We met four years ago at Forillon park, and I can tell you that I hope to be able to get back to Gaspésie in the near future.
